Morning Thoughts

I wanted to put up a post yesterday… somehow, shit got in the way and I completely forgot. But… yesterday was actually not such a bad day.

Communication, as I’ve learned in the last two days, is one of the most important things in any functional relationship. At work, we were unable to do some stuff, simply because somebody didn’t tell some other person something in time, & that other person neglected to tell me & someone else so we could figure out a plan. Abstract, I know. But still, atink you get the point (forgive me, slangs like “atink” may show up in my posts. This is me blogging, not writing creatively so… bleh).
Anyways, some relationship issues got sorted as well… when we simply spoke to each other (no, I don’t have a gf. Don’t vault into conclusions), instead of sitting in silence like we’d been doing for weeks, & growing apart and shit.

So yeah… this morning, I’m thankful. I’m thankful for a lot of things every day, but this morning I’m thankful for the ability to communicate effectively. For the people they’re willing to speak out instead of watching things deteriorate. For the people that’re willing to listen to rational words instead of accepting irrationality.

May the words of truth we speak never fall on deaf ears.

Panda makes his home in the world of words and metaphors. In the hopes to be more than just a confused blogger, he currently works as the editor for an ecommerce company that was good enough to hire him, and lives with his flat mates & two imaginary dogs who get along just fine. He enjoys reading good books, writing, relaxing with his friends, & poking fun at his mother over the phone. When he's not doing any of these, he sometimes sits back and wonders why anyone expects to learn anything useful about him by reading this bio. View all posts by The Capoeira Panda
